Angelina Vernetti

Only two percent of all women in Germany are beautiful – at least according to the general ideal of beauty: minimum 175 cm tall and clothing size 34 to 36. The average woman’s body, however, looks different. In her photographic work "EVERY BODY" Angelina Vernetti examines the utopia of an achievable ideal of beauty. "EVERY BODY" tells of fears, desires, doubts, self-discipline and happiness.

For her long-term projects, Angelina researches and photographs socially relevant topics with an intersectional-feminist perspective.
